All sessions will run from 6.30pm-9.30pm

Individual sessions will be provided on weekdays arranged with Speech Pathologists directly.

Please note; should the evening timeslot not be suitable to a majority of families, it may be possible for a different time to be allocated for course dates.

This program is designed for parents of children who have language delays. Parents will learn practical strategies to help their children learn language in naturally occurring, daily routines.

Learn about:

• How to recognize your child’s stage and style of communication
• How to identify what motivates your child to interact with you
• How to adjust everyday routines to help your child take turns and keep interactions going
• How to follow your child’s lead to encourage him or her to communicate
• How to add language to interactions with your child to help him or her to understand language and then use it when s/he is ready
• How to tweak the way you play and read books with your child to help him or her learn language
• How to change the way you speak to your child so that he or she will understand and learn new words
