Lots of new visual resource aids were made by our corporate volunteers on Friday. Six volunteers gathered for a day of printing, laminating and binding to produce many new resources that will help children and their families. Thanks to our staff member Sarah McMillan for coordinating the day and thank you to Karen Sparks, past parent of Pathways ECI , for speaking about the difference visual aids make to children's communication. We now have restocked some popular resources which we give to families:
- ‘first…then…’ boards
- 3 step sequence (first then then)
- choice boards
- large classroom timetables
- lots of retractable keychains and hinge rings
- $100 to go on the Pathways iTunes account
- the 'usual' consumables (laminating pouches, Velcro etc)
