Pathways ECI has received $15 000 from United Way for a new family education program.
In 2012, we will offer a new course called Parents as Case Coordinators (PACC) which aims to help familes develop the long term skills to coordinate their child's early intervention and to build informal and sustainable networks. Throughout seven sessions, families will learn about: goal setting and support networks; the individual family service plan; resource management; strategies to manage conflict; problem solving and self-advocacy; self-care; and self-reflection.
