The Better Start for Children with Disability funding will improve access to services for children who have been diagnosed with sight and hearing impairments, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome or Fragile X. Families will have up to their child’s seventh birthday to spend $12,000 on early intervention services. The initiative is funded by FaHCSIA.
The Pathways ECI Board have agreed to apply to become a panel provider for Better Start. If we are approved, we plan to introduce the service in 2012.
